The Best Way To Kill Yourself
Suicide. It’s a hot topic these days. Everyone wants everyone else not to take their own life. You google the best ways to kill yourself, and all that comes up is suicide prevention material. No one ever offers advice on the best way to kill yourself. I’m going to attempt to give some of my ideas on the best way.
First, wake up in the morning, knowing that you don’t have to worry about the world. Fix your coffee, have a breakfast you love, treat yourself. Make yourself find the joys you’ve been missing. Why not? Smile and head out on your day. Don’t be concerned about anything other than enjoying this single day.
Second, take time to make sure that the people that are important to you know just how much they mean to you. See someone you love, tell them. Explain to them what having them in your life means to you. Be friendly and engage everyone; make sure you leave them feeling better when you greeted them. No reason to not leave everyone with a smile on their face. While you’re at it, put one on too, but only if you feel like it.
Third, look at the things about your life that bring you down. Make a list, and one by one, remove those things from your life. Either get rid of them completely or replace them with something that doesn’t weigh you down. If it’s a job, start looking for a job you don’t hate, or better still start that business you always wanted to. If it’s bad relationships, get rid of them. Move on and never look back. No reason to waste the little time you have remaining on someone who make you unhappy. Move on and know you won’t have to worry about it anyway. Unhappy with your weight or physician fitness, start by taking a nice walk, do some pushups, and maybe even sit-ups.
It doesn’t matter if you’re afraid to make the changes to situations you might feel trapped in. You only have so long to live anyway. You may as well ignore anything holding you back from what you feel is your best life. Remove that and just be the you you want to be.
And last of all, it’s the end of the day and time to turn in. So take a nice relaxing shower, lay out your clothes for tomorrow, climb into bed. Think about everything today that made you smile. Then close your eyes, and fall asleep. Dream, and rest, you will only have so many more opportunities to do this.
When you wake up, repeat the first three steps, do this every day. Keep doing this process everyday. Knowing that the end is coming can help you take the life you want to live for the precious little time you have and maximize its impact. Do this every day from now on. Live this way and one day you will not wake up. When that day comes you won’t know it, but you will have lived a life that was worthy of you.
