Lived A Dream

Lived a dream for six weeks. The dream is on pause today. Today I got up at 4:30 am, packed my lunch, had a protein shake, filled the thermos, put on a uniform, and grabbed my keys. It was hard to close the door looking at my Boston Terrier, Bruce, watching me. The routine has begun, and I liked it more where I made breakfast and went to my office and wrote, queried, and researched.
Whatever has transpired during the pandemic, I have been very blessed to have lived through it safely and used the time to build toward goals. Now I return to a place to pay the bills that is less than concerned with my safety or anyone else. It tells me I must take control of my destiny and find a way to live my dream again.
