Dealing With Pressure

Five hundred things need done. Now.

How do you manage to do everything you need to?

First, make a list. Doesn’t matter that something else needs done. Make a list. After you get that list done, look at it. Find the easiest darn thing on it. Do it.

Now, cross it off. Find another item. Do it. Cross it off. Keep it going until you either cross off the list or finish for the day. Anything left on the list, that’s the first task for the next round of work.

Don’t be overwhelmed. Don’t be crippled by anxiety. Deal with the pressure by doing.

Lists are how I process the overwhelming tasks that always seem to creep up in my day. Even the smallest tasks like sweep the floor needs to be on the list, or else it’ll just ping about in my brain and bother me in the background. Great reminder here. Thanks for sharing!
