You Have Thirty Minutes

Only thirty minutes available, what are you going to do? You could look at your phone, check twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and see how people are spending their time. You could shut your eyes and dream something. Maybe you could sit and count the seconds as they tick by. Or you could work toward accomplishing something you dream of. Right now, I have thirty minutes until I drive home.

What to do? I’m going to write a blog, that’s what. I’ve got projects that I can’t touch from here, but I can write. It’s all about finding the time and using it to meet my goals. Wasted time, my goodness, I’ve stacked it up so high I should be on the moon. I’m dying, and time is in short supply. So I need to stay focused on why I am here. To write, to create, and to cherish my family. That’s it, and that’s all.

So I write here for any and all who care to share in my words. I write my novels and search for an agent in hopes that my fiction will touch hearts and minds. I draw for me, and from time to time, I share it. 30 little minutes. This is what I’m doing with them.

No one can afford to waste time. It’s the commodity that God gives us to make a difference, and it can’t be replenished. I spent this 30 minutes with you, and it wasn’t wasted. You have 30 minutes, what are you going to do?
